Looking for the spring that keeps the Ashtray lid closed. This photo is just a stock photo from the web. Not my actual part. But I'm looking just for the spring. 1972 Dart rear arm rest ashtray.

Yeah I could. Great idea. I was hoping for the easy way out. And hoping someone had a nasty ashtray with a spring they were willing to part with the spring only.

I hear ya. You may find out what I did. I was looking for two of the tiny glove box door hinge springs, and I'll I could find were folks wanting to sell the whole door/hinge assembly. Good luck in the search.
 
I've had people try to sell me the whole arm rest on another site. Dude I need a spring. I'll find it or make it.
