Crazy kids!
Brings back memories. We had to do that stuff at night around here.
Where was that? Looks like Colorado.
Fun times.

All those stone-washed jeans ...... mid 1980's for sure.... :)

That video has been floating around for a good many years, it appeared here a few years back.

Yep, I could see it coming. The Chevelle and the Charger were the most powerful cars there buy like many, the Chevelle was overbuilt and one the edge of being uncontrollable. The Charger had plenty of power but was more predictable. Just my take.

I think that's a fair assessment, plus the Charger driver was much more in control. The Chevelle driver was a dumbass.

That is hwy4 on the way to tofino on Vancouver island I think they call it second bridge ? Knew a guy from Port Alberni ,met him at a car show we talked about the video guy on the quad has passed away , guy in the striped shirt starting the cars died in a bar fight , the red Chevell has been rebuilt and is nicer now than it was , and the black one at the end of the video was the first blown street chevell in the town ,we watched it as we talked about the video the guy was about 60ish I would guess .

I thought I saw a white 63 or 64 Chevy 2 that looked like a Beaumont at about 6:10

Here's a 63 Beaumont. A Canadian Pontiac but about the same as a Chevy 2.

It was typically a midnight thing for us. One of the first Nitrous kits I put on a car and hid it well got plowed into the back end by the clown he was racing. Beautiful Monte carlo left in ruins..... I wouldn't even attempt it today. Different time. Glad I got to be a part of it when I was in my youth....

great footage..
