how many of you have your windows tinted on your a-body cars? rarely do have I seen a mopar with window tint. Is it just the style to have no tint on your windows?

i tinted the windows in my duster, i did it because i have no a/c, leather seats, and live 3/4 the year in the beating sun in SOCAL. But i am young and love to make irrational decisions... LOL

Some of the pictures of my car look like the windows are tinted due to lighting effects, I think it looks good but then I think about the knees in the back seat and such required to tint the notchbacks raer glass and decide "Nah".
Besides, it would hide that good looking rascal behind the wheel. LOL

I thought of doing the big rear window on my 68 Barracuda fastback. It`s like an oven in the summer. Va. has some stupid laws about tinted windows, and I believe the only windows I could do legally would be the rear and 1/4 glasses. Who knows I may still give it a go.

Same here, Michigan you can not tint any windows.

I would have done all otherwise, your Duster looks cool, I like it.

People get hung up on how the car look like when new, who cares, I don't.

Here in Wisconsin you can only legally tint from behind the
front doors. Safety for the cops to see in. Did it on our
Dakota R/T. Got pulled over 3-4 times. Finally pulled the
stuff off the front doors. It looked good on the truck. I
just can't get into it on old muscle cars. So the Duster
won't get it done.

I made my own windshield banner for a white notchback we had years ago.
If I run across a "poorleroyed" snapshot of it, I'll scan it and share.

I pray that you're still active on this forum because I gotta know what kind of wheels those are!

I intend to tint the windows on my Duster at some point, not super dark though and mostly for looks as it's actually not that bad in summer even with no A/C (Colorado is very dry). We do have laws for window tint but they're somewhat vague, lots of people driving around with "illegal" tint but not much happens unless it's noticeably dark or you get pulled over for some other reason. I think the type of car matters too, cops around here are much more likely to pull over a modified late-model tuner car scraping the ground with a fart-can exhaust for window tint than a classic muscle car or newer luxury car. We added fairly dark tint to my mom's old 2009 Chrysler 300C, pretty sure it was over the legal limit and was on all 4 doors and the back glass and we never got in trouble the 5 years or so we had that car. It was "champagne" gold and driven by a lady wearing a head-scarf so not exactly a cop magnet lmao.
