Yes. SorryCan I assume you are asking about hydraulic flat tappet?

I couldn't agree more. I had two sets of Comp lifters crap the bed on me and refuse to buy anymore.Seems like most all complain about Comp Cam Lifters failing.
I am one of those guys. To me a better built lifter have the real snap rings instead of the wire retainer. When several of my Comp lifters failed (Twice) I went with Lunati.
I have a set of them, and I don't mind them. They haven't failed and aren't that noisy (especially over loud exhaust). I'm not sure about the wider power band though, but I think their claim to that fame is that it kills duration down low. I don't know if that exactly works like they say.Rhodes lifters, quality USA product but a slightly different animal. For people who don't mind solid lifter type "noise" but like and engine that with a wider power band.
Hey Mo....Were they the Lunati Micro-Trol's that failed?I had a couple Lunatis fail. Went with Comp cams and when the engine heats up I get ticking.
I have know idea. I bought a cam, lifter, valve spring kit. 10200704 is my cam part number.Hey Mo....Were they the Lunati Micro-Trol's that failed?
I used the Echlin because my Dad (Oldschool mechanic)
Who makes the best lifters? That's easy - Kohler Engines based in Kohler WI USAWho makes the best, trouble free lifters?
Please show me a trouble free hydraulic roller lifter. Can I assume you are asking about hydraulic flat tappet?

Yeah I fear that one day we will have to reuse "old" USA made stuff. there is a way to check /clean oil pumps for example. You can also disaasemble and clean out/ inspect lifters too by the way. The standard practice is to just replace them, but if they are catastrophic failure prone due to the "overseas" factory using plastic or aluminum, you are better off with the old metal part keep in mind the "powers that be" dont want these old cars on the road. it will be difficult and expensive in the future to drive old iron..Thats what I am hearing. China junk
Most likely your best bet would be to find a set of NOS Mopar lifters (good luck) or find a good used set and have them re crowned and cleaned.Thats what I am hearing. China junk
