727 Rebuild recommendations

I called the guys at A&A for my transmission rebuild parts. They are knowledgeable and will actually take time to talk with you. You might find cheaper on ebag, but having someone to talk to is worth something.

Got mine from Performance Automatic with some bells and whistles. You can buy a basic kit relatively cheap.

None of the kits are really any good. And you won't find a kit that has everything you need anyway. Would you start buying parts for a motor before you had it apart? Throwing money at it won't make the job come out any better. Selective thrust washers, heavy duty manual shaft seal, hd direct rings, performance clutches and bands, hard parts, the right number of clutches.......it's not a carburetor...
