Good day fellow enthusiasts and owners. I am in search of a pair of 9" Rear Drum Backing Plates for a 7.25 Rear please. I am planning a visit to do some serious wrench turning on my 1965 Dodge Dart in early April and figure that since most components on the car are already shot, I may as well go to it with parts/systems in place to do a switchover. I've read even that later model 7.25's (V6 Chryslers, Dodge, Plymouth) with the SBP might have the same Backing Plates but I am unsure.....anyway, I am located in Utah and was hoping that after the cool rear end swaps I've read about being done, that there might be some loose 7.25's pieces laying around from a member here out West ?

If the mere idea of packing and shipping is too much and there is a better alternative, please, may I ask for some direction on that. I've done some research and another member was in search of 10" backing plates and came across an article titled Differentials that went on to mention that these same 9" 7.25 Backing Plates go as late as 1989 for Chrysler, Plymouth, V6's, but even then I've not been too successful in finding them.....
I thank you all in advance for reading my short novel and more importantly, any that can help with either parts or info on obtaining this piece. Thanks again folks, and we can all now return to our regularly scheduled activities....hahahahaha.....

If the front of the rear drum looks like this, just imagine the rear ? But do all know that each and everything you see in this photo is being replaced with new where can be.
