So we picked this up last year so my boy could have an old Mopar to learn on and play with once he got his license, with supervision of course.

Anyways, it's a '70 Duster 318/904 that a friend of mine found buried in a barn. When we got the car it was totally non operable and had been for decades. We've since done suspension, brakes, rear end, fresh engine and converted to a 4spd trans. We haven't touched the body, and honestly, I don't intend to anytime soon. This cars purpose is mostly gonna be cruising, burnouts, shows, etc..

Anyways, what do you guys think so far?

Good for you guys!!
Real hottrodding is still alive!!

I going to say good for you guys too. Nice find and a great start for you guys to build memories along with a nice Duster.

What a great start to get your son hooked on a great hobby! Get that boy some tunes in there! I’m almost 60 and I got to have some good sound!

I bet he had fun getting it on the road.
Good Job.

This is what I think when I see that cool AF car!

Awesome! Got my son's Scamp running and driving for high-school, now he's 21 and we're going back through it. Making great memories like you guys! Fun ain't it?

Very cool! Looking back, I should have got mine roadworthy and drove it for a while!!

JD, I'm not so sure I'd say he "wrangled" those chrome valve covers off of me. I was pretty insistent on the car looking fairly period correct, so I figured chrome DC valve covers and air cleaner would be the way to go.

Besides, I've still got 5 more pairs of them...

Yeah....I was just picking with you because I remembered you jumping on the last few sets for sale on here. I like them as well, and have 3 or 4 sets. You saved me some $$$ when you saw that last set of nice NOS ones on here before I did....lol.
