I committed a sin and had a pair of long needle nose pliers in my back pocket when I hopped in the Dart the other day and poked a hole in my seat. It’s not a show car or anything close but the seat was near perfect shape. Is there any stitch kit or stick on or iron on patch kit that’s decent looking and will prevent from a further year?

Looks like all the material is there. try this... Poke a small piece of black fabric through/underneath. Close the crack up on top of it with 3 or 4 tiny shirt pins. If the crack pretty much disappears, all you need is super glue.
I repaired a lot of burns in seats, carpets, etc.., while working for used car dept' of Ford dealership. I've used the filler kit in cracks in dash pads, sun visors, and the like. I could see my "nearly invisible" repairs because I knew exactly where to look. Never had a customer point one out.
