I sent my BLP BX4 main body to Dom (Thumper Carbs) a couple weeks ago and today this arrived.

Thanks Dom!

Everything black is new, he also set up the jets, bleeds, and emulsion.

I love the glass sights. Makes it a difference when troubleshooting.

Damm that is trick!!! Like how much will this set you back? Is it streetable?

It's going on my street/strip dart and is set up for it. Give him a call if you need a carb, he'll treat you good.

It’s not on the motor yet?

I just worked off nights this AM and took a nap when I got home, UPS dropped it off after lunch. My O2 sensor was acting up so I updated the firmware on the LM2 and added a new 4.9 sensor, the new sensor required a new cable as the one for the 4.2 sensor isn't compatible. That part is done and ready but I have to pick up a nipple for the PCV hose. Then set the spacer up in the mill and drill and tap the hole. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon it'll make some noise. It's supposed to be really hot so I may wait to drive it early Sunday before it gets hot.

Did you ever do a thread on your engine build? I was researching Indy heads and found a bunch of posts by you on here and Moparts. Your motor runs good and was interested in what all you did.

Wow and I thought my stock stroke 360 was the bomb with a 292 mopar cam!! Your set up will beat my 360 like I am going in reverse!! Wish to build something that sweet someday!

Justin what kind of spring specs do you run and how is longevity of springs with 1.7s and that lift?

The springs are Pac endurance 1386, 245# on the seat and 655# open, titanium retainers. They haven't been checked since the engine was built but will get checked and replaced if needed this winter when it's freshened up. The cam doesn't have a very aggressive lobe because it gets driven on the street. The cam is a Comp from PRH.

Also curious what rpm you shift that motor at?

It made peak HP at 6750, I shift it 68-7200.

It's on and running, fired right up, no leaks, drips runs or errors. I took it for a drive and warmed it up then recorded a log for about 3 miles on a LM-2. It's rich at cruise rpm's, 11.9-12.0 at 2300-3500. WOT from 6k-6.5k 12.3-12.4.

I think he did a great job on the tune all things considered.

Thanks for info, your car runs awesome. Do you know what lobes your cam is?
