Found 1971 340 engine 1E1158523 (?)

This 340 engine came in my 1971 Dart. Complete engine with flex plate attached. I will rebuild for my car, LL23H1R263395 if my engine is not located by October 2021. Located in CT as car was transported here from California.

You should go ahead and have that engine built because I've never seen anyone find the engine that they're looking for in two years much less two months...good luck ....

Can you clean the pad up some more & get another photo?

1E - 1971 LA built car so it is from an A or B body.

You obviously have one of the '71 340 Swinger Specials made in Ontario and sold in Western Canada.
A very rare car indeed.
Do you have any idea when the car was brought over the border to the U.S. from Western Canada?
The original block might still be in Canada.
Have you tried contacting @cliff guinand ?
