I am very curious what a practical use would be for those type of bolts. Regardless, pretty cool design.
Why do that? I can see no advantage and wouldn’t it weaken the fastener?
Pretty cool, but I cannot imagine they would take much torque and as mentioned......"WHY"?
Fascinating stuff, but I can see no practical use for these. Sometimes taking an idea to fruition is its own reward, but seriously, I can't see any application for these. Hats off to the creator for an interesting concept.
once you get it on and tight, how do you get it off? the red hot wrench?
Delta makes some wood lathe faceplates that have both right hand and left hand threads in the same piece.
