Tell ya guys, if you are this frickin paranoid, I don't need to deal with you

Found an Ammco brake lathe for sale "parts" for 100, it's a disk/ drum lathe only comes with the disk cutters and the shaft, no other tooling. But I HAVE one and it jumps out of gear on the crosscut, so you have to hold it in gear. Wanted 100 I thought it would make a great parts bin

Talked the other day, I told him I'd play the weather by ear, so tonight I called him. He had told me he gets home from work at 12:30, so I figured I'd "get a jump" on the trip and arrive there (Cheney other side of Spokane) just about the time he gets home.......That way I would not have to argue with afternoon heavy traffic "maybe."

Well he comes up with "I'll give you my address tomorrow afternoon before you leave." I said !!FINE!!! and the more I thought about this the more stubborn I've become

NOPE!!!

He needs to move to Coeur d’alene!

Here i thought this was about machining operations. Dangit.

Yeah, I've run into that crap before. I was going to look at a parts car not long ago and basically got the same thing. I asked again telling him I didn't use GPS and that I wanted time to google it, print out a map so I would have it in plenty of time. He wasn't havin any of it, so I told him "bye".

^^Yup^^ By the way Rob I got the outboard photo "sort of" LOL. My phone is a flip has a display the size of a postage stamp. When I get time I'll "bluetooth" the thing to the laptop

There is a guy that I've dealt with at swap meets for the last 3-4 years. He bought a ton of stuff from a friend of ours estate when the friend passed away last year. I've asked him multiple times if I can come to his house & look at certain parts. He keeps giving me the run around about he's busy on the days I've tried to set up to go look. He tells me he'll get the parts out when he gets around to it & give me his address. I guess he's just paranoid, or he wants to list them else where & sell them before I get a chance at them.

A feller on CL had an ad "used Fox body parts" I was looking for an 87 -up intake planum as my 86 (first year for FI)has a more restrictive upper plenum.

I respond by e mail" do you have an 87 upper and lower" the guy says "yes I do " and gives price. I say "let me know where and when to meet, I am free this weekend, Fri, Sat, and Sun" He responded back with some exit off the highway but no day and time. I shot back a "ok when" and never heard from him again...I think people sell things but don't have time for it, that includes meeting up and shipping.

It goes both ways, sometimes life gets in the way
