Reading my latest (Feb 2022) Mopar Action (which has a significant brake article.)

Referred to an aluminum master cyl that shaved about 4 lbs from the car BUT looks like a stock cast iron mc. Not much different price than a rebuilt cast iron one.

I need a master cylinder and this would be perfect for my wagon. Just ordered it.

Looks suspect to me...how did they get that color? Let us know, that would be a great addition instead of a rusty cast iron one.

According to the article in Mopar Action, they sprayed it with a cast paint. I will report back with pics when I receive it

I have received my cast aluminum master cylinder from Force 10. Shipping was fast; less than 3 says from the time I placed the order online late in the day till when I received it. Besides being double boxed, it was also sealed in a plastic bag

other than no “cast iron” finish, it looks just like as shown in the magazine article in Mopar Action

I didn’t compare it weight-wise to a similar cast iron master cylinder but there is a definite difference in weight. I will know more and report back once I get it installed.

Of course it's going to be awesome! Because I just in the last couple days bought and received my doctordiff 4 bolt to 2 bolt adapter so I could ditch the cast iron master cylinders, lol. Figures. Looking forward to the reviews!

Hi Don,

I’m eager to hear if it’s a true bolt in master cylinder, brake lines and all…

it appears it will be a true bolt-in - the front and rear port size is correct - front fitting larger than the rear

I have my brake pedal assembly installed and the master cylinder slides right onto the mounting studs no problem.

I can’t verify fitment with a manual brake pushrod as I don’t have one and haven’t decided yet to go manual or power.

This M/C also fits my rebuilt Midland Ross power booster M/C mounting studs

They should make a 15/16 bore. I looked on there site and all I see is the 1 1/32 bore
If you really wanted to, you could sleeve the bore and use a 15/16 rebuild kit.
Yes you would have to drill all the needed holes etc.
