Hello Everyone,
My name is Carl from Michigan. This weekend I am starting my First ever Mopar build. I am starting with a motor and then will find a vehicle. I have come up with a color scheme for the build already as well. I am going with the Blue engine paint. ...Quick Note I truly hate chrome on most things... So I am going to go with Copper. The car will be Black with Copper accents. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea. but I will post pictures and stories on my journey.
Thank you in advance for any and all advice

Not a Mopar. But I'm thinking your going this route?
:)

Make sure you LOVE the vehicle you are going to use for your engine.

Years ago, I built a 440 figuring I would put it in a B-body at some point. I found a 1969 Sport Satellite and installed the 440. Later realized I did not LOVE the Satellite and sold it.

I am looking for a 70-73 Dart, Valient or Duster. not opposed to a Moredoor, but if a deal comes up I cant say no to than so be it.

70-3 Val is gonna be the most affordable. I'd paint the bumpers body color, that would be allot of copper! Welcome aboard!

I will be going Copper Powdercoating. and plan on incorporating some old school with some contemporary stylings

Welcome...I'm in the Warren Ohio area...you found a great site here! Cant wait to see the build. Chrome bumpers and air cleaner are the extent of my chrome.
