I had 600 in mind but not one offered,everyone seemed to expect me to give it away
 
Sheeeit running and driving moredoor 68 newport sedan. I woulda given you $600 for it. Woulda made a great daily driver for me.

I couldn't remember if they were two bolt mains or four bolt mains. I knew at least one was a four bolt block but the others were un known. A few guys couldnt understand why I wouldn't drain the oil out, recycle the oil, pull the oil pan, inspect the main caps and call him back.

Brother, if I'm doing all that, they would be SOLD, not Given ( unless it was a friend or something) I've had a Bros son's Trailblazer in my yard for 6 months now.. IT HAS to be moved, he doesn't have the time... so it's my problem? I don't get people sometimes
 
You are the only guy! I got pissed and the post got deleted and I haven’t advertised since. Just not worth the aggravation. We scrapped 3200 last month 2600 were flats that we were keeping until scrap went up

Maybe so, but I have been looking for an older daily driver that I can fix myself when it breaks.
 
This car is going to the scrap yard... maybe today. Advertised it locally for 600 bucks, but nobody wants it or made an offer. 3.8, runs good was my sons work car till about 5 weeks ago. Needs a couple of minor things but runs and drives today!. I figured at todays prices of used cars, this would go in a hurry.

Ahhhh, the "spite crush" threat.

Pay my asking price or I swear I'll junk it and get pennies on the dollar, if I'm lucky.
 
I think the high price of used cars is limited to very late model used cars.

I see buy here pay here lots with mid 2000's cars for $2500.

Try to buy something '18 or newer and they are +25% or more what they were 3 years ago.

Thats just crazy amount of car for $600.

EDIT: I think the spring it goes for 1K after people get their tax returns.
 
Bottom feeders have no money nor normal credit so that cheap car won't sell. Besides these types will go to the buy her pay here store and buy something newer that is a total POS for like said $3-4000 and make the weekly payment.

own your life is my motto. Make payments on education and house. own everything else......but I drive complete junk.....so theres that.

yeah, and we didn't advertise it on Marketplace or such. Just thought a local area person, or maybe a 1st car, you know.... Maybe I'll use it for something stupid in a video :D
 
I found a 71 Demon roof section on Facebook marketplace. I set up a time with the guy to meet him. I woke up the next morning and felt like total crap. Headache and just nasty cold. I messaged him right away at like 6am. Dude threw an absolute **** fit that I wasn't coming. I understand when you plan around things but I was in pretty sad shape. I told the dude I would let him know when I was feeling better and I could come back down. Mind you this is like a 5 hour round trip. Dude tells me "it's out on the curb with a free sign on it" and tells me to pound it. Still on marketplace for sale for the same price... I refuse to buy it from the dick head.

yes, they offered 550.00. I said "if it ain't worth 600, I'll scrap it!!!!" ... :D :D kidding. I don't know. Unless I think of a cool video in which I can race it, jump it, or whatever, I'll just do what's easiest and take it to the yard and collect. We did have a call, though, and the guy wanted to know if the AC worked, etc. LOL. A/C works great right now, roll the window down 2" and let the 20* air hit ya!
