Yes They have a Ollie's in Western Pa. One of my brother's favorite stores.
Lots of left over, discontinued, items. Bargain Basement store.

Oh yeah, got one here. A lot of Ford and Dodge COE kits. I got a B58 Hustler kit from there I should be putting together with our high of 21 degrees today. Sure not fit for anything involving "The Out" right now...

B-58 Hustler, what a beautiful plane, one of my all time favs.

We have one. They are a overstock/liquidation store. You can find some good stuff on occasion but mostly its just junk.

Yeah they put one in Macon. Smack in the middle of the hood. It's not doin so well.

Damn, those are old school prices. I got out of buying models way before they got insanely priced. This is like going back to the early 2000's!

They appear to be operating on the former Big Lots/Odd Lots business model.

True overstock.

Not sure if what you bought today will be available next week, or ever again.

I bought every pair of 2.25x reading glasses they had.
Hard to find that power.
Have not seen them again.

True overstock of junk if they follow the Big Lots model. Big Lots has very little of anything worthwhile.

Big Lots is pretty much cheap new stuff, slightly discounted grocery, and cheap/pressed paper furniture anymore, although some of the grocery items are difficult to find if not impossible elsewhere.

I get my Victor Allen brand Italian roast K cup coffee for work there.
It's "only" 2x the price of bulk canned coffee rather than 5x like the name brands.
Only other place to get it is Rural King and they usually don't have the Italian roast variety.

Ollies has a nice bleach based spray cleaner.

That reminds me I need to get some more of that.

...if they still have it.

They also had our favorite 'corn on the cob' flavored potato chips.

Hard as hell to find those. They had one bag, and never again.

We normally have to buy a case from Menards and have it shipped.

Big lots does get some strange test market products (that probably failed). Lots of strange flavors of potato chips and weird beverages. On occasion I will find something that is really good, go back and buy a bunch then never see them again.
The absolute best potato chip I ever had was a steak flavored chip from big lots. They were made in England and I **** you not they tasted just like a grilled steak. I wish I had kept the bag or taken a picture of it.

Have several around here. AAMOF, my daughter & SIL gave me the MPC '69 Daytona kit for Christmas. Picked it up for $9.99 at Ollie's. Saw one advertised for sale on another board for $40 :realcrazy: and one on ebag for $19.99 that still had the Ollie's sticker on it. At least they crossed out the Ollie's price.
One note about the kit- it comes with extra parts (blower, deep Cragar SS wheels (no big tires), and a Charger 500 bumper which I plan to use on it instead of the Daytona nose & wing. Seems there were a few other pieces also.
