[problem solved] V8 Motor mounts question

what is the right thickness of a 273 v8 motor mount biscuits in early a bodies?

Okay, i got right motor mount for V8, but i can’t find right motor biscuits. And i’m gonna weld solid mounts

what is the right thickness of a 273 v8 motor mount biscuits in early a bodies?

i found 3 different sizes!

1 3/4, 1 5/16 or 1?

I remember them being the middle ones. As the thicker ones are diesel truck and we were using them as upgrades (also lifted enough to not need V8 center links)
 
You may want to think about mocking it up where everything clears (exhaust, steering, etc.) then make the mounts to fit.
 
IIRC the bricks were 65 and the ice cream sandwiches were 66 V8? The tab locks were truck for sure and were written up in the early valiant newsletter as working options. Ive seen both brick and sandwich used in my 65 parts collection.

So I could possibly build some solids like this and use the I6 center link?
 
Late to the party I know, but I have my originals out from my 273 4 bbl, P/N molded in 2465508. They measure 1.55" as shown. I'd say nominal 1.5", there may be some slight swelling from age.
