i would say no. it should be blacked out behind the grill.looks much better

Most colors received a blackout treatment. Only a few of the darkest colors had the blackout deleted. Anything visible through the grill should be blacked out. I'm not sure on A-bodies but E-bodies also had the rocker pinch welds blacked out. It could have been sprayed or brushed with black paint...I sprayed mine. I used SEM Trim Black.

It was sprayed very sloppy. Years of being hit with sand and other road debris will have worn some/most of it away.

Agreed, a very sloppy job they did w/black out. When I paint I leave it body color. I just cant seem to bring myself to spray bomb over all that hard work and nice paint. lol

A-Bodies didn't get the rocker pinch weld blackout like the E-bodies did. The '68 b-cuda with the rocker gill and spear did get argent under the spear though.

Does anyone have a close up picture of the argent under the gill and spear?

My peave #2. Visible sheet metal behind the grill. Not everyone dislikes it but it's up there with the 65 hood stripe continuing under the hood latch. It just ain't right. Now I don't mind a black or silver center grill on a 64-65 Valiant/Barracuda and that's not correct either. To each his own.
