My friend Charles is a pretty serious Mopar guy. Three Super Bees, Coronets, Chargers, a couple of Mopar powered rat rods and various and a sundry other assortments of cool Dodge trucks and whatnot. Now he is updating his 29 Model A ratrod. 392 first generation Hemi power. I "guess" 11.30s at 113 or so MPH ain't good enough so he enlisted my help to put some new Hot Heads aluminum heads on it. We got the heads swapped out, valves adjusted and whatnot. I think he's changing a few more things on it. I'll get a video when we bust it back off. It's pretty tough. Sorry for the sorta crummy pictures. It's up in his shop and there's limited room.

Hey RRR. If your friend Charles is looking for some "old school" 1st gen parts for that motor I have a pair of Chrysler Marine ( with the bumps ) rocker arm covers and the adjustable rocker arms w/pushrods available. Selling all my 1st Gen Chrysler Hemi parts. Don.

I have one too. A 56 331. PM me what you need for all of it. I'm sure I caint afford it but Charles dang well might.

Sir Charles has a mighty fine steed.

I swear I've seen that car! Do you know if he ever took it to the N. GA Swap meet up at Atlanta Dragway before its demise? I remember seeing a rat rod car that had an early Hemi in it there, and the windshield shade with the holes kinda sticks in my mind.

It's very possible. It hasn't met a demise. It's fine. We're just upgrading a few things. It's entirely possibly you've seen it, as he drives it a good bit in decent weather.

Maybe Charles will help you install the red rear into your car.......get r dun.
We're discussin terms. LOL WHat I really want his help with is some of the bodywork on Vixen. One of Charles' Super Bees was BEYOND GONE when he got it. ......and man I MEAN BEOND GONE. Had it not been a factory 383 four speed Ramcharger hood car, it wouldda been a parts car......and WOULDDA BEEN for most anybody else anyway. Charles saved it. It's beautiful now.....and in typical Charles fashion....that's wide open, he put a 440 six pack in it. LOL Of course he kept all the original stuff, too.

I think he meant the demise of Atlanta Dragway.

Sorry....I kinda 'splained that wrong....lol. I meant the demise of Atlanta Dragway. It's being turned into an apartment complex to house workers for the EV battery plant being built in Commerce. Supposedly, the Chinkenese company that owns the battery plant is bringing their own workers to the new sweatshop.

None of that takes away from your buddies cool car though!

Oh man, that is almost my dream car! Only thing missing is the 8-71 huffer and me behind the wheel. Please, please, please post some more pics when he gets it back together and out in the sunlight. Thanks.

Aluminum heads will take a big bite out of the front end of that car. I see some of the other weight reduction changes he’s made. Looks like a fun project.
