I have a Holley 4 barrel on my 225 Slant Six. Not sure of the size that it is. How does one determine which size? Figuring the one on my car needs a rebuild as there is some hesitation on normal acceleration. Car runs and starts ok but taking first gear up in the higher RPMS the engine performance is breaking up right before the car hits second gear. Hoping doing a rebuild and re setting the carb up will eliminate the problem?

4 digit number on choke tower tells you what it is. 1850 is 600 vac. second.,3310-... is 750 vac second. Google the numbers.

Far as I know its good but I will be checking everything. Like to replace he plugs, check the timing and adjust the carb better. This carb acts like an accelerator diaphragm is worn out
Acc pump would be a bog at the time ya floor it....

Look on the front wall of the choke tower on the driver's side of the float bowl vent. Here's a picture.
