That's a great toy for a kid that age, then you know where they are and what they are doing. If the whistling stops for awhile then it's time to check on them.
 
I just don't like the bastids. Not even my own.

I was bitchin about some kids haulin *** down the street on our neighborhood group and she said that stuff, obviously about me….so I responded.

That's messed up... I have issues with people speeding where kids are, or just in residential areas. I've Yelled at a Few! It's even better when a few locals are out by the road, and they get it... lol
 
Me too. I’m not perfect, but some of the things I stand for definitely center around neighborhood safety and security.
 
My last place, in Carrollwood, (N.W Hillsborough County) was cool. You would Never know it was off a Main drag. I'd been there since '05. Higher end area. Everyone there was of the same mindset, and we always helped each other. Moved bout 2 years ago. Slightly rural area, but alot of people in a smaller area, with a higher turn over rate.... it Ain't the Same! I was back home ( the old place) yesterday, picking up some of my Mopar stuff I had laying around... miss it. Backyard was a swamp, that opened to a lake

I have lived here close to 30 years.
Only people I know by name are the woman to the right, and the Guy to the left, and that's only because they pay me rent.
Otherwise everyone who passes by, walking their dog whatever knows my name. He'll I couldn't tell you one of theirs.

Sounds like You're Well Known and Respected!
 
We have a great neighbourhood with some really nice and helpful neighbours. There are some that sort of keep to themselves but others are right there for you. Lived here 25 years in June.
