I just rebuilt my head of my slant six and upon starting there is no oil coming out of the rockershaft the engine has oil pressure I used the longer bolt in the back the notch is in front facing up

The shaft should also have the larger bottom of shaft hole at the back end where that longer bolt is. Hope they didn't clock the cam bearings wrong
 
Peanut head?
I seem to remember they don't oil as much on the shaft.
If it's a peanut, take the rocker shaft off and check that there is some oil in the shaft.
 
There are lube holes in the rocker shaft approx 1/8" diameter. One for every rocker. The 225 in my Valiant had been parked for 32 years and every hole was plugged from dried sludge. I actually removed the plugs in the ends of the shaft and thoroughly cleaned everything out.
