This is first time that I ever own so does it requires to use spacer on the mounting plate ? otherwise cut open the original hump hole.
 
I bolted mine to the original plate, no trimming required.

Mine is a supershifter III with the reverse lockout.
 
I have one, and mine bolted right up also. It's from the 1980's though
 
Bolts right in, no spacer if I remember correctly.
 
How is your operational levers and linkage set up?
Linkage is stock A body.
No issues on operation, the red handle just locks the shifter so it cannot be put into reverse.
You can leave it unlocked it just acts like a regular shifter.

Does anyone have a part number for this shifter?

I just searched on Summit and couldn't find it. I called and spoke to a rep who couldn't find it either...but I suspect it's a problem with the search function rather than an actual part availability issue. Is it still in production?
