Rock auto sells a pitman arm (7074) listed for a 65 valiant. I understand this might not be the correct one. Can anyone clarify if this is compatible or not? Thanks.

Looks just like the one from my 65 Barracuda

Other sources show the Moog K7074 as being for the 1967-72 A-Bodies. Since Moog was an aftermarket leader in chassis parts at the time, other companies often used their numbers.

The part number you need, according to the Mopar catalog is 2072573. I show a source that crosses this to Moog K7020. Don't take this as fact, just a tool for further research. Maybe early A-Body guys can weigh in, they're the experts.

Firm Feel PAA1 would do the trick.

The old TRW number is 18665. The old NAPA number is KA-484. That might help you find a good old Made in USA version. All the '62-6 A-bodies used the same one.

Thanks everyone, this is very helpfull. I don't understand why rock auto is selling that. I think I need to tell them they've got it wrong!

I found one more part number you can add to your list. FA-436 is probably a McQuay-Norris part. If you find one, scoop it up. But, it's likely easier to find unicorn tears.
