I am building a 340 for a guy I know, he had the block at the machine shop for over 2 years, and wasn't getting done. It is a 69 Dart street car , with a RMS front suspension and TTI headers. What oil pan might fit ? I should be able to put a rear sump pan on, but not sure about header clearance. Thanks

Mid sump is a normally used pan. Is there something different about the RMS set up?

Not sure what's available today, but our recently departed Roy had a thread about this in 2016. He ended up notching a Milodon.

RMS in a 68 Barracuda, oil pan problems

With the RMS you should be able to use any rear sump pan. To set it up, just use a rear sump truck pan and pickup from a 318. Cheap, just baffle it and go. Headers should not be an issue.

I would think you could use just about almost any pan available. Milodon does have the mid sump road race pan. For extra capacity and ground clearance. Disclaimer: I have no personal experience. Someone else can chime in and let us know if it's truly worth a ****.

The RMS has a front mounted rack and pinion, and coil over shocks, so there is no drag link or torsion bars to deal with

On behalf of the thread starter and myself, thank you very much! A truck pan would be great for oil pump modification for drag racing.

Thank you for all the replies, I will let the customer know, and let him decide.
