I just had my 67 Barracuda front brake upgraded to disc and added power brakes. The old master cylinder sealed to the firewall and the new bracket leaves a huge hole around the brake rod on the firewall. Who knows what and where i can find something to seal this with? Thank you all.

Do you have the reinforcement plate installed?

Alan

No. I hired a shop to do the install and there is no reinforce plate on the car. Now I know the name of what I'm looking for. Thank you.

Interesting, there is no section 5-31-1 in the parts book, the other illustrations show 5-31-11 and that doesn't have A-Bodies
In searching I ran across a post here that said that A-Bodies don't use it.

So you may need help from someone with power brakes.

Thank you for the info and research. I guess I'll have to wait till someone see's this post that happens to have one around. Makes me wonder what other people do.

Would be pretty simple to make. I can take all the measurements if you want to gonthat way.

It looks easy enough to make but the boot is still 30 dollars. I was hoping to find one someone had laying around. I bought the bracket kit for a Mopar A body and Gm brake booster. I'm going to use the parts I need and see if anyone here want the rest of the kit.
