What do racers do on Super Bowl Sunday. Well some of us like to get covered with aluminum slivers to support our “bad habits” of racing. Another Ohio racer getting fixed up. I should have it ready for a valve job today and on the flow bench hopefully tomorrow. This set is getting some 2.055 Ferrea Valves and of course a 5 angle valve job

Back to the OPs porting...

Has anyone tried porting but purposefully leaving ridges to promote turbulence?

Yes, Not to promote turbulence but atomization
That was my thinking the turbulence would help keep the fuel atomized.

I wonder if the dimples on a goofball would be any benefit to that tech.

Dimples have been tested plenty of times, I don't know how effective it is but it causes a boundary layer & helps air haul ***..
