Does anyone know what adapter I need to adapt this to my 1970 Hurst handle? I think the handle takes a 3/8-24 Thread. And this T handle is 1/2? Or 7/16. I keep seeing adapters for metric in my searches.

Just buy One with a 3/8"-24 Thread. They're on Fee-Bay for $30-$40 bucks used...
Adapters make them taller and sloppier.

It's aluminum. You just weld it up and make it anything you need.
If you don't have the appropriate "locknut", you will need some HD loc-tite, else you have no way of securing the orientation. But worse is that if it moves on the 2-3 shift, your knuckles will mash the dash.

IMO,
1) those look nice and all, but they're like a pretty dress on a *****; looks good from far, but is far from good.
2) Stick with the ball; it has an infinite number of ways to be grabbed, and you can still speedshift if the ball comes loose.

Pistol grip baby :)

I Never liked 'em. They force my wrist into an awkward twist. and, IMO, they are out of scale too-big for an A-body.
I once drilled and tapped a Hurst T-handle on the big end, and put the Line-Loc on the top. I thought it was a good idea but it turned out not to be, again because of the twist. Went back to the ball. My stick is an old Mr.Gasket Bang! Shifter, so the handle is real short. For me, the ball is the best. 1001 shift positions for from granny-shifting to Sport to Race; the ball does it all.
If I had a Pistol-grip shifter handle, I would sell it ASAP.

But I admit the look Great! in an E-body.

Put a ball on and your problems are solved. The only place those handles work is on a B&M star shifter. Those handles caused many missed second gear shifts due to getting hung up in the reverse cross over gate. You always end up pulling towards yourself. But with a Ball and your Hand on top. Then get up on that thing and rip, You always yank straight back. Clutchless, LOL
