it was offered with 1 xtra parts car 3 engines 3 rear ends 2 complete 4 gears one nice set of rally rims and baskets full of parts for 4,000 on this site 3 years ago no one wanted itLooks a little too nice to part out. Not the eighties, just don't see many in that condition around here in the rust belt. I know I couldn't do it.
there is a p.m. in front as well but you are 3rd. thanks. I wish I had 50 of themI’ll take second in line for the sway bar.
you have to help me on this one. It is a 7.25. were all commando cars limited slip? Could we verify it?I’d be interested in the limited slip if it’s 7.25. But I’m sure you’d want to sell the whole rear end, and it wouldn’t be cost effective to ship the whole thing.
Jack up off the ground one rear wheel. With the trans in neutral you shouldn't be able to rotate the raised wheel. This is IF, it indeed is a suregripyou have to help me on this one. It is a 7.25. were all commando cars limited slip? Could we verify it?
it was a commando 235 hp. I already sold the engine. If no one nearby wants the whole rear end I will consider shipping you the center section. If it was a 235hp car it should be limited slip. However, a lot of these have been removed when the rear end needed repair. My convertible is an original 235hp car that should have a limited slip, but it’s gone. I think the welded hole in the diff cover is a good clue to what happened to it. Easy to check.
we used to do that in high school but I couldnt remember the true procedure, Got it thanksGreat. You can just jack it up with both wheels off the ground and spin the right rear wheel. If the other wheel spins in the same direction it is limited slip. If it spins the opposite direction it isn’t.
You forgot to mention to put the trans in neutral. Also this method doesn't allow you to know if the suregrip is working ? With one wheel on the ground in neutral you won't be able to rotate, thus you know it's working the way it should at least for now.Great.You can just jack it up with both wheels off the ground and spin the right rear wheel. Good Morning Mike,How much before shipping on the sway bar and center link, and deck lid lettering. ?
sure...I can have my wife post some more body pics. It's really straight. If you do the body man look down the sides it's really good. Minor lower rear quarter issues and typical small bubbles. It will be after 5 for the pics. I have another one that is overall nicer. 273 2 bbl original. Really nice interior. It is a Georgia car so no title just bill of sale. I had it sent here for 450.00. Dont let mileage scare you if you want a car for her. If you petition an online broker that has a 2-guy team with an 8-car hauler you can get a good deal. Can we see what's left/condition of body?
Dang, that looks like way too nice abody with title to part out.
Sure wish you were closer.
That checks a lot of boxes for what my wife is looking for.
