I have a 75 dart swinger. Has a 408 stroker. My new project for the car is getting the 46rh I just put in to function properly.

Welcome to the group. There have been a few that have used a late model O/D in their A bodies so you should find some help. "46RH" in the search box will bring up enough threads to keep you busy reading for a while.
