This weekend I am going to Mopar Carlisle to pick a few odds and ends. I am stuck deciding whether I want to keep my Cragar SS wheels on the Barracuda or buy a set of stock Chrysler rallys. I really like the tough look of the rally wheels, but those chrome Cragars are sharp too. Does anyone have a preference? I'm stuck on the fence about it.

I really like rallyes but for your car, I am going to vote to stick with the Cragars. Let us know what you decide.

I say cragers all the way i love the look of them, but i will also admit i dont like rallyes anyway. They are ok but if that was my choice there is no way in heck i would take off those awesome rims for a set of rallyes. Justin

I would have to say stay with the Cragers. those look aggressive on there. I do like the rallyes and have them on my 65 Cuda, but if I could of found Some cragers like yours that is the way I would of went. Just my .02

CRAGARS!! Just ordered a new set.. Love'um . They are by far the nicer look of the two.

got a cheap set for sale too..

Your car looks really nice with the CRAGARS, and back in the day I always would tell my friends "I'm gonna buy a set of Cragar S/S wheels and my car is gonna looks sweet"! Well that never happened and I got older and decided that I really liked the rally wheels that I bought for the car about 20 years ago while I was trying to save the money to buy the Cragars.

That wasn't much help was it? I like the looks of your car with the Cragars, but if you are going to switch to rallys get 15" that is one thing that should have done when I bought mine. Have a great time at Carlisle!!

Thanks guys for the input. I think I'm leaning toward keeping the Cragars too. And it will be extra money in my pocket for some of the other stuff I wanted to pick up. I'll let yall know how mopar carlisle goes.

If you decide to get the rally's I may be interested in purchasing your cragars if they are small bolt pattern.

I bought a set of draglites from a Moparts member after a similar post to this one.

Personally, I like the Cragars much better.

Yeah they are small bolt pattern. If I buy rallys this weekend I'll let you know for sure.

For my part, and to be brutally honest in my opinion, I just cant stand the look of rallyes on pre 70 A bodies. They were never available for these cars and to me just dont like "right" for early A bodies (and not that good on later A bodies either)

I don't know about Valiants/Barracudas, but 13 inch Cragars were available on Dart GTs. I've got several pieces of factory literature stating showing they were an option (perhaps dealer installed?) on the GT. Definitely period correct - although Rallyes look good too,

You already have the Cragars, so thats what I would stick with. Cragars or Keystones. Bunch of guys rushed out right after they bought these cars new
& ordered one of the two.

Your car looks awesome with the cragars. The only thing that would be better is bigger rubber on the rear end. But it's all good as is!
