Show Your Big Block A body!

Hello, this is one of my big block cars. It is a 1968 4-door that I picked up for a $100.00!! I added 68 383HP from a Road Runner, 4 speed, 3.23 8 3/4 sure grip rear. It is in the paint shop being painted 2003 PT Cruiser Intese Blue Pearl. Then off to the upholstry shop for new interior. I added disc brakes to the front, .890 torsion bars, 6 leaf HD leaf springs etc. I will post more pics one I get it back from the body shop!!! I know it is a 4 door, but I wanted something different, oh yeah I have electric gates on the exhaust just aft of the headers!!

Here are a couple of pics of my 68 Barracuda and 426 Hemi motor. I have done a lot so far. Offset spring hanger kit, 8 3/4 with 4.10 suregrip, superstock springs, wilwood brakes all around, newcombs hemi k-frame, tci super street fighter tranny and converter, restored gauges (redline) restored bezels (g-car) restores dash pads (just dashes) refinished front and rear seats etc. It is getting there slowly but surely, takes every single dollar I make!! Thank god no wife or kids...I think they would get sick of the KD every night!!!

1968 Barracuda BH23F8B car.

440/727/3.90 8-3/4

440 0.030 Ross w/ 0.990 pin, Eagle Rods.
Ultradyne tight lash solid 243 at 0.050, 0.548", LSA 108.
Muscle Motors machine work on block and heads including port work. Stainless valves 2.14i 1.81e.
Performer RPM intake. Old BG "750" mech carb.
BG pump and regulator. K&N flow control low profile air cleaner.
MSD ignition: distributor, 6AL, coil, fyrewires from SunroofGTX.
Moroso circle track low profile pan w/ 1/2" pick up.
Schumaker headers. Dual 3" exhaust w/ 4 mufflers.
BeCool radiator and fans. Meziere pump.
11.78" discs front, 10.7" discs rear.
Mopar crate transmission. Coan converter.
Driveshaft loop. Relocated springs. 002/003 springs.
Mark Williams 3-1/2" bonded MMC driveshaft w/ 1350 joints.
Detroit locker, dutchman axles, 3" screw in studs, set 20 axle bearings.
Custom rear housing by Dr Diff.
165R15 front runners on 15x3-1/2, 325/50 drag radials on 15x10 cragar superlite II wheels.
136 amp alternator w/ six rib belt. March pulleys.
SFI flex plate and balancer.
Cibie "off road" headlights w/ relays.

Here's my son's Dart. We'll finish some day after he finishes college and gets a job. It's got a 440, 18-spline, 3.23SG, Barracuda dash, and other mods.
