Hello FABO,
This is my Dart Swinger 1972.
This car is an original french since 1972. The original 318 was replaced by a 225.
I really do not know why ? Maybe a question of taxation ?

Here’s my Dart the first day I got it :

225 being a bit tired I thought the change and put a 318 as in its infancy. But I cruised two years before starting work.

Marcel (a realy good friend) give me a 318 to restore.

After the advice of Laurent (another good friend) and hours of work, here the result.

Right now I rehabilitating the engine compartment to replace the 318.

Great looking project, looks nice and solid! I am assuming that your friends cars are road racing cars? Can't wait to see more progress.

Your the only French guy I know that is here on the forum. Best to tell your freinds that we are here. They need not have an "A" body MoPar, but it helps. Ha ha ha ha

I just sold my Duster....so... I'm A body-less. Only a 73 Cuda and my 79 Magnum are left....:(
 
Hello and welcome!! Nice car you have there, and you did a terrific job on the engine!!! Also, I'd like some info on that green 72 dart! For some reason, I really like that front spoiler!!!

Well, when the engines were new, the 225 did get better mileage.
Do you pay yearly taxes on cars?
On bigger engines?
 
sweet...the downgrade to the 225 was probably for tax reasons..

Love what you have done and your friends cars..
