I am interested. You wrote no rear or trans...is there a motor ? Was it auto or stick ? When will you be able to post pics ?

C'mon man don't crush it! Crushing salvageable classic cars (espeacially real 340 4 speed cars and the like) doesn't help the hobby only hurts it. And if you do decide to crush please dont ever buy another classic car again cause you obviously don't care enough about this hobby to be apart of it. Thanx good luck on the sale hope it sells!

Hey before you smush it, I need that little square metal peice in the engine compartment that is behind the heater hoses (held in with one screw). I guess it's some sort of small support or cover...

If it still has the 340 k member with the washer on it, I'd be interested in that.

Hell yeah. You're a lot closer too Bill, you sure you don't have one laying around in a field somewhere?

Agreed. :angry7:

Really tempting! I'm not too far from you. I would consider buying it and setting it aside as a future project. Is there any way you can get someone to take some pictures? Can you give me a little better idea of where and how serious the rust is? Is there paint on it? What was the original color? Is there a title, vin plate and fender tag? Thanks, Dave

i can vouch for angelo. Car has some rust issues on the passanger rocker panel from what i remember and "typical" east coast rust on quarters. Other than that its a good project. BUMP for you Angelo

Well, I was going to ask some questions but I can see that this is going NOWHERE!!!!! I'd hate to see someone crush an original 340/4speed car.

Thats pretty discusting. I have crushed a 4 dr swinger, and 4 dr satelite after I removed EVERYTHING. But thats just stupid to say your going to crush a 1971 340 4spd duster.

Here is a tip bud, if you just want it gone...Put it up for free on here, someone will take it within a day. I know for a fact a scrapper isn't going to give you anything for it, they are in it for weight, and that car is only worth $40 all stripped like that. I would know, I am a scrapper.

We got a 1969 2dr buick skylark the other day...its a driver. FREE. Anyone interested?

I'll buy the Duster for that price. Lets see if I get a reply. No BS on this end.
I live in Jersey and will gladly drive to NY to pick it up.

Ya, I live in Washington state. So it is just stupid for me to think of going to get it. But I would like to. I mean who would even think of crushing a car like that. I get sick even thinking about it. These kinds of people need to just go away. They are really F-ing up our hobby. I would not even want to crush a 4 door /6 car. Where is the Buick skylark at????
