  • Sorry about your Dart. Back in about 73 I woke up in the morning and I always looked out the window first thing. My 69 Hemi RR wasn't there. It was recovered but with a number of parts missing. So I know that feeling. But I do have a 69 GTS 383 4 speed body. It has been modified but is truly beautiful straight, painted and is a rust free body (98%). Let me know when you are ready if interested.
I didn’t keep up with your final progress on your car
Did you ever turn a time down the quarter?

Not yet. The nearest strip is two hours away, and I've never taken the car out on the road that far. A NEW dragstrip is being built as we speak 30 minutes from my house and hopefully will be open in the spring. We will be spending lots of time there!
what rad hoses did you use for your small block to the champion rad? can you remember?

I'll look when I get home but I'm pretty sure they were 70 Dart V8 hoses. You need to do the latter hoses if you have the later water pump
Hey Brian, Question about your rear axel measurements ,if you remember. Im going to buy a dana 60 today . it measures 46 inched Drum to Drum. Guy said it came out of a Chevy . I had another member say it would work in my 68 Dart . ive moved the springs and mini tubbed. Can you tell me your axel and wheel measurements , BS,Etc
Hi Brian, just wondering ... What type of rear suspension do you have? Looking to mini tub my Scamp and trying to figure out what to go with.....I like the stance of your car

Thanks. I've got ESPO +1 springs and Monroe gas-matic shocks on it right now. I would like to upgrade to Cal-Tracs later this summer or maybe the Street Lynx system from Reilly Motorsports.

The look comes from the off-set wheels and big tires tucked up inside. The tubs will give you that. Just make sure you measure twenty times before you order your wheels or cut your rearend. In the end, it's worth it.

Is your just mini tubbed by widening the factory housings or does it have actual tubs in it?

It's the stock tubs that have been widened by approximately 3". It didn't turn out as pretty as I would have wanted, but I'm going to hide the tubs behind panels in my trunk. It should be pretty easy.
Hey you have 325 on the back of your dart? Dod you ditch the leafs all together and go to coil overs?
Thanks for the feedback. I should have done a little more homework on this. But I was dazzled by the price for what I was getting. It happens. Anyhow thanks again.
