Now as I mentioned awhile ago, I really don't like the front end of these 73+ Dusters. So, I do what I can. I painted it... A lot!

Now, if you notice the trim is what is different mostly. the chrome around the head lights, the chrome "Plymouth" piece, the turn signals painted and not painted.
I thought this was more of a flat black, but it looks pretty glossy to me.
Can someone tell me what looks better. It's kind of hard to see from these pics, I know.
I also added hood pins today, stereo, and the bumper delete.

Thanks guys... Sometimes I look at it, and think I should have just left it stock... Oh well.

Surprisingly I can change the paint scheme quite easily.

This is how it sits as of right now...

Yea, I plan on doing the same thing with mine...If anything I like the way it currently is in your last post.

i like it with the chrome around the headlights and turnsignals. in the first set, it is the last couple of pics of it outside and inside the shop. the rad support appears to be showing through some on the grille in some of the pics. you need to flat black that out.

I like it, although I will say that I like argent silver better on 73/74's....the black blends nice with your gold colored paint.

At first I thought you painted the shiny plymouth area above the mesh grille....but it was shady non-glare in the first couple of pics.

Looks Good Overall.

You Should Try The Argent Silver I`ll Bet It Would Look Better Unless Your Using Steel Rims That Are Blacked Out

hmm... Thanks guys! At least I know it don't look like total crap!

There seems to be quite the debate on Silver or Black grills.
I don't know? Looking at them, I think I prefer black. I mean, thats just me and my opinion. Your cars look great! I just think for my scheme (like someone mentioned it's a brown "gold" car. I kind of like the black/gold scheme. That guy that mentioned that, hit it on the head. Thats exactly what I'm going for. I want a flat black snorkel hood scoop as well, to go with the flat black spoiler. I'm going to try to change my interior over to black as well.

Like I say, you cars look GREAT! I'm just kind of tring to complete the "scheme".

I did just the oposite to my my turn signal fixtures. I added highly reflective material to the inside for more light out or brightness. The black paint in there might absorb enough bulb heat to blister, time will tell.
I would black out the radiater support so gold doesn't show through the grille.

The shot of the car out on then road looks best to me.......a nice trim surrounding the whole grille scheme with black inside the trim. Looks good.
