Hello, doing a lot of research on a new project I am picking up I ran across these forums. By far the most data and active base I have found. I am really looking forward to my new project. The wife and I are working on a 1970 Duster 340 matching numbers complere car we picked up withis weekend. 2500 seemed like a steal, going to do a ground up resto on it back to original keeping it mostly stock.

I actually got this resto bug after completeling a 1988 jeep wrangler with two of my teen-agers recently. Now its time for the wife and I to build something up for us.

The pic in my sig is all I have right now, looking to make some room at the house before I take actual delivery.

Welcome, you better watch your back the cops are probably looking for a guy matching your description who stole a Duster

A family friend sold it to me, he has treated me more than fair. I appreciate all the kind words. I am missing a few things from the drive line and what not, so i have been putting a list together. Going to make this a 12 month plan after I take delivery. Again thanks for the welcomes.

Welcome to FABO RonG
I have a #'s matching Tor-red 1971 340 Duster that has turned out to be a 5 year plan........in fact, I found another Tor-red 1971 Duster that is soon to be a 340 clone for my wife.
When you get you parts list together, post it in the "parts wanted" section....I'm sure you will be able to find the pieces you are looking for

A very hearty welcome; a BUNCH of good folks here.
I think you may have bitten off too much so being the good guy I am I'll give you what you paid and throw in another yard for your trouble............ Ah...no thanks....I don't think I want to kiss that part.

Welcome to FABO Ron!

Good luck with your build...If you ever come to San Antonio let me know... I'm just about finished with my 71 340 Demon... I also have alot of A-Body parts (70-74).

Danny

Welcome to FABO!.....and it looks like you've got a pretty decent deal there on that dusty......keep the pics a comin'!

Thanks for all the kind replies, I will get that part to list together soon. MT Belvieu is just outside of Houston/Baytown.

I do have some newbie resto questions but I will find the appropriate place to start that thread.
