there is a post on craigslist for a sharktooth grill.

I click on it and its a 71 dart grill stating that its a shark tooth for dart duster demon.

There is no email, so I phone the guy just to let him know that is is not a sharktooths grill, and its for a dart only. SOme people just don't know.

The guy just hangs up on me.

So I flaged his post and texted him and called him a crook.

To think I was just trying to give a freindly heads up.

It is nice, But it just sucks that someone would try and trick someone at this time of year. What if a wife saw it and knew her husband wanted a sharktooth grill. There goes $300.

His price is a bit high, but I don't have anything against that. I just hate wrong information, and when the guy could have just said thanks for letting me know instead of hanging up on me just makes him a dishonest crook in my books.

Was his name Vlad ? the pile of stuff around it kinda looks like Vlady's place and yes he's a huckster but you can usually get a decent deal if you know what your buying and willing to dicker ,unless he has you over a barrel then spread en wide and bite down on something cause it's gonna hurt
 
I did that on eBay once telling a guy that his vin number must be wrong. He said the car was a 70 super bee with the vin WM23..... and the car was a post (21). He sent me message back tell me I don't know what I am talking about and to butt out of his business. It was removed shortly after.

I don't know if it was Vlad...( green notch 340 cuda?) I would be suprised if it was. I have not bought anything from him, biut I do know him.

We should all email him at the link provided with the message "hey, Chevy guy, that's not a sharktooth!" Whatya think?
 
I've ran into things like that before too. Can't remember what it was but some clown on E-bay had a listing that was totally wrong. I mentioned it to him nicely and he replied very rude telling me I didn't know the first thing about a Mopar. I replied and told him how he was just another crook trying to rip people off and I was reporting the listing to E-bay. They removed the listing which surprised me cause you know how they can be. Don't think he liked that much but who cares.

I see the listing for the grill is removed. Good job Phil.
 
I have had someone phone me befor and give me a heads up on something that I have been selling. If I ever advertise something that i think may be something els, I always say.. " DO YOUR RESEARCH" in the add. I just hate people that try and rip people off.

Its one thing to ask high, and if it sells, great. If not, Great.

Its another thing to try and say something is something else.

Rylan, Hey man, I am thinking of starting work on my Demon. I don't know if you remember it or not. I know that you do some welding, I have a good little wire feed welder, Have you done bannels befor? need to do lower 1/4's and inner fenders on the demon. Trunk needs attn too. Just wondering if you have any advise.

you can try Dave Gill near Mission...he has alot of Mopar parts for sale...
(604) 767-3825. Never personally bought anything from him but know some guys that have...cars and parts.
 
I could spend all my time sending emails to ebay sellers about errors in their descriptions. Not my job. The only time I will send such an message goes like,
" Bidding on this item. Wish me luck. And by the way that is a 67 only part. 68 and up are totally different. Good luck to you too."

He is hit and miss...more miss than hit though. I have always struck out.
