Mopar Madness 2010: Langley British Columbia

Our club (Mopars Unlimited BC) puts on a GREAT Mopar show every year for the past 18 years. Instead of being at Kwantlen College in Langley as it usually is, the event has been moved this year. Apperentley Kwantlen decided to raise rent costs on their parking lot by $2000 or something like that!!! See, the college location was right outside downtown Langley and right aside a major roadway so participation is always good in the show. Being that the show isn't there anymore, I'm trying to spread the word on the new location so we can get as many cars there as we can! Anyways, the show this year is at:

GEORGE PRESTON RECREATIONAL CENTER
42ND AVENUE AND 208TH STREET
LANGLEY BC

It's on Sunday July 11th, 2010. It usually goes from about 9am-4pm.

Spectator admission is free. To enter your car into a class I believe is $15.

I was thinking about making the trip but then I couldnt work on my car, torn between mopar and mopar. Is there usually a swap meet or is it just a show?
 
Stuck with my ankle biter tomorrow might go for a bit hopefully, look for a blue lifted 4x4 CTD Ram with the screaming kid in the back lol
 
ok if anyone knows where I can get a decent Radiator between Van and Langley for about a $100 then I'm in.:tongue2:
 
Well I made it there seemed like a good turn out. I guess I should have asked what everyone was driving or wearing lol didn't find anyone from FABO, Cuda Gary the used parts King was there BS with him for a bit. My little girl lasted about 20 minutes before she was bored so I had to go took only two pics dam kids lol.

I was there, did you see the beat up white 4 door 65 Valiant in the parking lot where you first come in? I was parked next to a brown/copper 68 Dart post car, and there was a rusty Challenger on a trailer for sale right near the car too.
 
I think so I parked on the road and walk in by the the yellow steel gates. You where back from the cars on display rows right? I was the guy with long hair wearing the white and Red blood splatered muscle shirt lol

Were you wearing gym shorts with white socks pulled up past your knees?
 
NOPE left my suspenders at home too, just skull pattern red ,black and white t shirt. Ask your GF I'm sure she noticed me.......
 
I was there with my car.

It was the first Mopar show I attended and won 1st place in my class

I attended but without a car....I worked all night to get the Duster finished and I didn't make it....it's 97% finished. I need to hook up the transmission lines and driveshaft and it's done.....definitley bummed the car didn't make it but there is always next year!

Orrrr there is always the Parksville Chrysler Mopar Show July 18th.. thats this Sunday ;)

Parksville show won't happen with the Duster.....I may try to make it up there as a spectator though...we'll see. There is a Mopar show on I believe September 11th at Haley's White Rock Chrysler in White Rock though....

Now, why would you want to go to F*rd Galaxie (EEK) or a GM (GAK) show when you can attend a very good all-Mopar show in Parksville this coming Sunday???

I hope to see all the Island FABO-ites there!!! Stop by the Dart and say "Hi"!
 
I'll be at the Parksville show on Sunday as a spectator. Anybody know what time the show starts and ends at?

My guess would be it would start around 9 or 10AM, and finish at 2-3PM
