Hey guys, I'm having trouble deciding which green I want to go with on my '68 Dart. It's between Sublime, Go Green, Sassy Grass and AMC Big Bad Green. As of now I am leaning towards Sassy Grass and Big Bad Green. If anybody has pictures of green '67 - '69 Darts I would appreciate it. Please state the colour too! Cheers.

wow! Green is cool but I wouldn't change that red!!! I still haven't decided wether to stay the original color on my 66 or paint it a normal color. It is Gold Poly Metallic which is gold with a hint of green. Not necessarily my favorite color but it is an original HP273 4-speed GT. toolmanmike

I'm bead-blasting the car, putting on new quarters, fender patches, the whole works. I did a model of a '71 Cuda in Sublime when I was about 11. Ever since, I have always wanted a bright green Mopar. I have my chance now so I'm going to run with it. I just can't decide which green!

My sons is a 72 but you can get an idea. His is more of a forest green. Ron

Go mango is an orange colour. I'd say the first on is Sublime and the second is Green Go.

Sorry about the Mango, I should have known that. As for the PT CRuisers , they showed up at the show in numbers. They are as passionate about their Mopars as we are. I own one and they are really nice cars! Toolman

I too would like to chip in my opinion on PT Cruisers. My pride and joy is a 1970 Duster 340, one of the finest specimens in the country. I also have a 2004 PT Cruiser with 180 hp turbo. These are both fun to drive vechicles. Took the PT Cruiser down the strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during Mopars at the Strip in March and turned 15.81. It also gets me into the Fun Field, where I can relax between jaunts around the grounds. Everybody in the family likes to drive it too! My wife doesn't like to stay with me at car shows but she sure likes PT Cruiser shows.

I myself don't mind PT Cruisers and work on them for a living. Now I mean no offense to any who own them but when I go to car shows or whatever I don't go to look at PT Cruisers or any new cars. Nothing wrong with them there as I just walk right by them and look at what I like. It's just that I see them and new cars every day driving on the road and the muscle cars are what I don't see every day and thats what I like. But hey thats just me and I am just an old fart. Heck my son owns an SRT-4 but he takes the Dart to the races and car shows. Ron

I am a huge fan of Sublime green. I hate to admit it but my '64 valiant that I'm building is going to be Sublime with huge Plymouth call out badges on the rear flank.

ever thought of anti freeze green ? i looks so badass in person since it is like a candy color

Why not? In years gone by the PT Cruiser Club has been the largest club at Chryslers at Carlisle and they have their own show every year at Niagra Falls with close to 1000 of them. I don't think there is any other car on the market that has as much available for customization as the PT.

We have an 04 PT GT turbo that will show it's tail lights to many a so called "muscle car". It's my wifes car and she has taken great pleasure in cutomizing it. It's electic blue with silver flames and it's the first car she has had in our 20 years together that she is just as happy with as the day she got it.

BTW, don't go challenging a Neon SRT-4 to race, you will more than likely be eating it's dust.

I have a 2004

The Beast is F-8. Don't know how dark you are considering painting it?

Some things to consider. If you car has flat panels , you can go with a darker color. Lighter colors will hide a few imperfections. Darker colors highlight chrome accents, if you have any. I really like the last pic of the Scamp shown in the previous post. Check out the vivid chrome highlights. I still haven't picked a color for my project.
