    1963 Dart 270 Wagon

While browsing through the untamed wilds of eBay Motors, I came across some Holley single-barrel carbs with glass float bowls. These were Holley model 1904 carbs, which to my understanding were available for a time in the 50s on some Fords. As it turns out, the glass bowl will also fit my Dart's...

    8.75 auger?

I had an old 8-3/4 case that had bearings that were HUGE! the largest bearing for the 742(?) case was the smallest bearing in this one. I believe it was listed for a 60's 383 car.

Take your car out for a spin. I prefer to be around other car people too but sometimes it's not practical or convenient for what ever reason.

4500 Series carb has idling problem

Good afternoon. I was tuning my car today and it does not to want to idle below 900 rpm. This is with the idle adjuster screw all the way out. When I looked down into the carb all 4 butterfly's seem to be closed. Thanks....................Ted

    Duster fender emblems install

The splash shield, removed from in the tire well area. Several small head fender washer bolts, and a few screws. Many times they are hidden by undercoat and buildup of dirt and mud. With that off you can even access the hood hinges.

    I’m freekin bored.

Nothing but bars around here, and I don’t drink or even enjoy being around drunk people. There are a few night time car get togethers in Phoenix, but that is an hour and a half drive one way. I like driving at night on lit multi lane freeways with the windows down, but nothing like that around...

Old style crager wheels and tires fir my duster. Opinion needed

I'm not sure how old the tires are. They have still on that really doesn't mean anything. I suppose.... How big a spacer can I safely run

    8 3/4 rear end confusion

Actually, I just found the answer to the spacer/button question. I wasn't aware that this is where the button actually ends up. I ordered a new one and will install it. Regarding the cracked clutch, it might just be best to order a whole new clutch pack just to be safe. These clutches have some...

Apologies for the inquisition but if it has a suregrip in it I would offer $100 to pull then ship it to me. I have the 7.25 in my 69 318 and that would make a nice addition! wouldn't you agree?

Stop in for a cup of coffee

I just got back taking my pugs for a walk, went out 3/4 mile and oldest one (9) overheated and ran out of steam, rubber legs so I had to carry her 3/4 mile back to my rig. Went straight home, AC was on at house, water, fan, took her about an hour to catch her breath, feel kinda guilty, forget...

[FOR SALE] Complete 7 1/4 rear end

I doubt it's a sure grip... It drove fine in my duster but I never power breaked it.. currently had a slant 6 in it.. my guess is it's not a sure grip given that 7 and 1/4 sure grips are extremely rare... Not sure the drum size but I can get a measuring tape for it... The rear end just seemed...

Old style crager wheels and tires fir my duster. Opinion needed

If the McCreary's aren't too old to be used, (BIG if!) $250 is a reasonable price for the tires, so the wheels are free. Have you priced tires lately? A nice wide pair of T/A radials is $500. I'm looking at about $2500 for a new set of six on my avatar car.

    360 vs 383

Stock? in your dreams. A fresh super tuned 340 Dart would be lucky to turn that, and that's IF everything was right. Ode to the mighty 340 hoping it doesn't come across an uncorked 383 GTS.
