Napa Gold now made in china

Well, they are not in business to give stuff away. Sometimes they do what they have to do to keep the lights on. My local Napa owns 5 or 6 stores now. Either go big or go home. He is at the point now where he can make a call and they listen. But a single mom and pop store cannot do that.

Massive caster variance Side to side

Also, if you loosen your k frame bolts you can “Shift”it one way or the other. But Rusty is right. There is a tool for pushing on brake pedal up to steering wheel or front seat. Hood prop rod works too. Like Leslie makes. I’m not a fan of a “do it yourself alignment.” Maybe to get it close...

Napa Gold now made in china

Napa in china is old news. Not sure if any filters are still made here in America or Canada.

    clutch fan won't fit

You can buy the clutch portion with shorter length. V6 V8 Dakota for one. I believe the 1996 or older version. The depth is very short.

That’s awesome. Especially when you hear it clear as day and the car is over a block away. Nice job!

Cost for labor on stroker build?

Yes! And this too. There are machine shops that will do Mopar’s and Mopar machine shops that will work on other stuff. The difference is night and day.

    Wiper Blade refills?

I just did it a few weeks ago. Anco wipers (yellow and blue packages) still sold today work and the blades are cheaper…. Sorry but when did wiper blades start selling for $25 each? Frecken auto part stores are charging more than the dealers. Sorry - a little rant. Anyhow, they are out there. I...

Cost for labor on stroker build?

Also to add: buying parts from the machine shop may cost a bit more but honestly it helps them stay in business. With that said - a good machine shop bores the holes and “sizes” them to the pistons individually per cylinder. You cannot do that at home… easily. Everyone is an assembly hero after...

    Wiper Blade refills?

I just buy an okay set of wipers and remove the rubbers and metal sides. Cut the rubbers to fit and install.

    Fuel gauge reading incorrectly

I also have used spectra with 0 issues. Question to OP: Have you ohm checked the unit to ground (when installed) to make sure you don’t have a grounding issue? Resistance will cause the reading to go weird. A buddy of mine had the same issue. He painted his tank straps and has put a rubber pad...

    Nicks Garage 383 build

    1) I don’t know RAMM (op) from anyone or his / her skill level. So this is not personal. But you mention “customer.” Are you a legit machine shop (kinda implied) or are you a crafty engine builder in your home garage helping out fellow car lovers? 2) 383 Mopar was a big block- 383 Chevrolet is a...

    273 Rocker Arm Oiling

...to death. 2) you never stated that in your initial post. You asked how does it work. 3) hand turning and priming an engine due to the geometry involved and oil paths does not always insure you get oil to the top during that procedure. 4) Rusty is a crank old b*stard but he knows his sh*t...

    Brake lights

Did you adjust the switch? Also, sounds like you have many electrical issues and not a lot of experience with electrical? Every thing needs power and ground. It’s that simple. A test light and understanding how stuff works is needed. The simple answer is we cannot see what you have done or have...

    1965 Offenhauser 273!

I think you’re right. If you look at the carb the mounting looks like 3 horizontal lines like those are 1” spacers neatly put together. Better get my eyes tested. Syleng1

    1965 Offenhauser 273!

If that is going in an early an under a stock hood; that will not fit under the hood with all those carb spacers. I have an offenhouser single plane correct for that time period with a 600cfm on my 273 and the air cleaner barely fits.
