[SOLD] Used Doug’s 453 Ceramic coated headers Sell or Trade for 340 manifolds

Hmmm .. I run those on my 68 Barracuda with power steering and they fit fine . Did you try using truck mounts ( insulators) to raise the engine ?

I was checking on a rattle on the right rear.

Yep, that would do it.:D Factory hangers and poly bushing. They even had factory lock nuts on them. Some even the pressed in stud gave up. Jees, both sides.

UPDATE on the failed Acell ignition module.

They Probably have a 400% markup on the part so cost is around 20-30$. Maybe … . Just ship a new part and thank you for your patience. It’s got to be obvious that you are familiar with ignitions and not some dupe that has 2 grounds hooked to it !

UPDATE on the failed Acell ignition module.

Nope, your expectations are realistic. I can't remember the last time I received even decent customer service. Most act like your bothering them just to do their job. It's rare just to find someone who actually knows much about cars at the auto parts stores! 65'

    Filler tube replacement 65 Barracuda

No, I have what I assume is the original unvented gas cap. I did get out the degreaser and worked my way to the engine casting numbers last night. 2465330 - exactly what I was hoping to see. Now I have to figure out why anything I pour in the radiator runs straight out onto the floor from...

Searching for 12v switched power after ditching ballast and installing aftermarket electronic ignition

Yes, not sure what year, they went from being 1 manual to separate for chassis and electrical. I have a 1977 chassis manual, and a 1976 electrical. Being my car is a 77, I really thought there wouldn't be much difference in the electrical components throughout the years of the same vehicles...

Its insane how dirty they get after driving in the rain. I still have dirt on the bottom of mine from Moparty 3 years ago when I had to drive through mud to load up to leave in the rain.

Searching for 12v switched power after ditching ballast and installing aftermarket electronic ignition

Just found electrical service manuals completely separate book from chassis service manual. 1976 all mopdels except valiant and dart had something called field-loads relay. One year only, trouble diagnosing if you did not know what it was or what it did or where it was. Relay controlled power to...

Slant 6 timing help- Torqstorm and Sniper EFI

It’s cool if you disagree but all of my suggestions are based on experience (as I know yours are as well) and I know what’s worked for me. One thing you’re missing is that when the pcv closes under boost you’re still getting blow by passed the rings and now it has nowhere (or very limited area)...

I use Moroso foam for my Hemi scoop. Cut it to length and push it against the supports from the front of the scoop, it won't go anywhere https://www.moroso.com/sealing-foam-4-x-60-97070/
