Still need a 63-66 A body steering shaft. Just the main shaft is all that I need. They are about 36.25" long. The one I have has damaged splines that are too far gone to repair. Thanks.
Can some of you who have an Addco rear sway bar on an early A body post some installed pictures please? I'm trying to get a general idea of the link angle and the angle of the bar. I have the 7/8 bar, but the 3/4 bar installs the same way. Thanks.
It's that time.
From the top plate first, going clockwise. Scruff, Clyde, Tiger, Scamp and Stanley.
From the bottom plate clockwise. Pixel, Sarah, Medley, Happenstance (Happy) and Baby Pink Nose.
In my truck, I have a Custom Autosound head unit with receiver, cd player, usb, aux, blootoof....all that stuff. It's a 4 channel unit. I have a 6 1/4" coaxial speaker in each door and a 200w powered Blaupunkt 8" subwoofer behind the seat. It's a two channel unit wired in with coax cables. It...
Does anyone make Holley float bowl gaskets that are actually reusable? ALL of them I've tried get cut when I tighten down the float bowl screws....and I don't over torque them. Yes, I've tried SCE.
@slantsixdan mentioned in another thread regarding the old AC Delco fuel pumps for the slant 6. So I hawked one off ebay. If yall want to keep your slants running a long time, I suggest you do similar, as "good" parts are getting tougher to find. Thanks, Dan!
I am going to rebuild a slant 6 water pump. That is, IF I can find a rebuild kit. LOL Anyway, here is how you press one apart. The other two videos will be coming soon.
This is a long discontinued Melling HM72 high pressure oil pump for the Chrysler small block. That's high pressure only, not high volume. They do not make these anymore. I got this from a friend in a pile of parts. It has been bolted on for mockup only. It has not been run. This is a MADE IN USA...
Interesting. I thought they were going to all EV too, but no.

I am looking for a power steering shaft for a 63-66 A body. They are approximately 36.25" long. Preferably with coupler, but either way. Please let me know what you have.
64 Valiant slant 6. I have rebuilt a power steering pump for Vixen, but I do not know how far to press the pulley back on the pump. The service manual says to press it on until the shaft is flush with the outside of the bore on the pulley, but that is impossible with this pulley configuration. I...
I've been noticing a slight stumble off idle and reduced fuel economy on my 75 F250. 400 engine, T18 4 speed transmission and Dana 60 with 3.73 gears. So I started checking it out and quickly found a bad vacuum advance canister. Got a new one and got it installed this morning. I decided to try...
I noticed one end of Vixen's serial number tag has come unstuck from the door jamb. What's a good adhesive to use that will hold it back in place? Would something like liquid nails work for that?
Vixen's carrier spider gears stripped the other day, so she's dead in the water. I am in need of either a complete good used 7 1/4 carrier, or a good used internal 4 piece gear set that includes the two side gears and the two small spider gears. As usual, I don't have a lot of money, but maybe...
I'm thinking about converting Vixen to power steering. With the manual transmission, I must admit it would be nice and the quicker ratio I'm sure would make her driving experience even more fun. Would some of yall who've made this swap tell me about it? Maybe what you like, what you don't if...
Happy birthday @Ironracer ! Hope it's a goodun, Chuck. Hope you and the little lady are doin ok. Ain't heard from yall in a while. Drop by when you can.
I got these in a bunch of other stuff I traded for and will never need them. FelPro 1102-1 head gaskets new and still sealed. All the information is on the package in the picture. They are for use with W7 and W8 heads. My knowledge on W series stuff is pretty limited, so do your research. $150...
