    The Mack truck

On Adam-12 today. I'll watch it sometimes just for the old cars that were new then, like the Belvedere. That Mack wasn't new when the episode was filmed circa 1969.

    Body Carts / Panel Alignment.

When I did my 66- I had it in the rotisserie and lowered it lower to the ground about 18” on top of jack stands. I shimmed the jack stands (3 per side) with wood and plywood. I leveled out the top of the rockers with this method. When I did the quarters - I was able to cut off and install and...

Have the 74 Dart on the rotisserie right now but getting close to the point where I need to get it on to solid ground to fine tune panel fitment, so I have two questions. 1) what are people using for Body Cart that they like? I managed to get the car in the workshop for a few minutes today. It looks as though the kickdown operating arm is very slightly longer than I need for this application. With the throttle closed the kickdown lever is about 1/8" back from fully forward and at WOT the lever could still travel...

    Restart the rebuild

Thanks Troy, I filled block 1st thru the hose connecting 2 nipples on engine, then topped up rad. I'm pretty sure it was a combination of things. The shitty pedestal fan being the major contributor. Engine fan was on backwards also but was in car same way for years. TTI eta is Friday!

Yes I mentioned the Ultra Low Sulphur mandate of 2006. Just for the record, Prudhoe Bay, AK oil fields had free diesel to stay running. After 2006 mandate, they started hauling 10K gallons a day from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay - 850miles each way. Cost of that rolls downhill to the end users..
