    It’s spaghetti time again

It’s been awhile and I almost caved a couple of times and grabbed spaghetti while I was out. So after a doctors appointment today I stopped at Walmart and grabbed ingredients to make up a batch. Last time I had a little leftover and froze it and was going to add some sauce to have enough sauce...

    Who would have ever thought

That members with a 372 CI and 408 CI engines would go to the track and on their first night at the track with that combo run the equivalent of 10.60-10.70’s and be disappointed. Lol. Are we living in the best of times performance wise or what. Years ago I would have given my left nut to see...

I guess this is the theme for 2024

It is quite obvious that the weather has been most unkind to us so far this season. We are sorry to convey this message, but the cold temperatures and all the rain we have already received and will continue to do so have forced us to cancel both Friday's and Saturday's events. The track will be...

Pete, repeat. Another set of Speedmaster heads

This time under my new rules so I have less work and the customer gets a better set of heads. I started drilling, honing, tubing, and porting Monday and put in a long day. Spent another 4-5 hours on it today and it should be getting a valve job for 2.055 Liberty Pro valves tomorrow. With...

This photographer from pittsburgh is awesome

Man he shoots some beautiful pictures around town. Last night storm brought him to town once again. From His Facebook post Lots more storm images to share today, and instead of spreading them out I figured I'd just share them at once in a couple posts. I'll have another one tonight that...

Deals are still out there guys. And this deal on a Victor340 had perfect timing.

My buddy called and asked if I was interested in a Victor340 for 250.00 and I quickly said no I have a brand new one on my shelf. Then I said hey wait a minute. I had a customer that was looking for one to get ported with his Speedmaster heads that are sitting here. He was looking for a...

    Penn Grade (Brad Penn) oil

I was getting a little low on oil and I usually try to find a deal early in the race season. Best deal I found was five quart bottles at Summit so I have four bottles on their way. Price was a hair cheaper with Pro Shop pricing. Last year Amazon had a good price on it but they couldn’t come...

    Edelbrock, TrickFlow rocker question

I should know this but I have about 15 things rattling around in my head today. The Duster that my son raced last year had TrickFlow heads on it and a brand new set of Harland Sharp rockers on it. They are running a set of Edelbrock heads I ported on the new 408 they are building for this year...

    I know I know it’s not an A body

But my buddy Tim sure knows how to build some nice engines and do some nice wheelies. We’ve been racing close to 50 years together.

Finally have this set of 2.08 Edelbrock heads done.

Took 6 weeks to get Manley 2.08 and 1.60 valves, keepers, LS springs (ya I didn’t stutter), spring locators, and valve locks. Well 5/16 locks came instead of 11/32. Took somewhere around 3 months to get this right minus -040 or -.050 pac 11/32 keepers needed with this spring to get the required...

Cadamore Racing is almost ready for the 2024 race season.

Totally cleaned my alcohol carb in my sonic cleaner and put in new floats, gaskets, 150 needles and seats and kicked around leaning it out a hair but I left the 172 jet in for now. Made up new Moroso Blue Max spark plug wires, new AR3911 Autolite plugs, and a new battery. I may pull the covers...

Is it ok to copy a W5 head and make it better or are we just mad at Speedmaster

A few months ago a well known small block head porter asked if anyone had a W5 head he could play with. Plan are to copy the W5 head and make some improvements. One of our members loaned him one and the project has began. Since I’m sure “Mother Mopar” had a patient on this what are our thoughts...

    Long drive for nothing

Took a long drive almost out to Dragway 42 in Ohio to check out a Black n Decker valve grinder. It had a collet Chuck like I’m looking for as my old ball Chuck Souix machine has to much runout. I plan on converting it to a collet setup but some parts are going to have to be made and I have to be...
