I plan on going through my 8.75 at the end of the season once i purchase everything needed. So as far as i know, it is a stock 8.75 with a 489 "open" center section with stock 5x4 bolt pattern axles. I already have the front swapped out to the BBP so i plan on doing the same in the rear...

I am running the Blueprint engines damper with the correct Magnum weight installed. After thinking about it I will verify the weight didn't somehow come off.

What damper do you have on the crank? And I dont know about a Magnum 360 but an LA360 is externally balanced. I've used an offset balance B&M felxplate and a neutral converter with good results on an LA but there are different dampers. Just throwing that out there. Good luck.

if you like driving it, you should attend the Woodward Dream Cruise (Detroit area). But only plan on the driving part Tuesday thru Thursday, it gets pretty crowded after that. Been there a few times, even got a "excessive noise / tire spinning citation" back in the 90's with the green Hemi...

Look at the torsion bar socket misalignment in this picture. The back of the socket is facing UP. To me, that says the frame in FRONT of the jack stand is drooping DOWN. Here's what I would try. Get on the frame rail well in front of that jack stand with your floor jack. You'll need a 2x4 or 4x4...

So your suggesting I go with the OEM set up with a factory shroud and fan for street use?

@Stephen Hotz had made one and it was getting sent around a year or two ago. Is this the same one that is missing?

As for the rest of the system, decide what the cars purpose is. Street car, or strictly drag? I would advise against electric fans and custom shrouds if you have any intention of street use. Sure, the OEMs do it, but They run at a temp much higher than most classic car people are comfortable...

Two wires go down to the trans switch. In and out. That is it. Power goes to the switch- when put in reverse power goes thru the switch and back to the harness and sent out to the rear lights. Not much more than that. Why 4 wires? Wrong harness? Sounds like a console harness for a automatic you...
