    Steel Louvers

First off, you have great fab skills! I wish I was half that good. Now to what you asked. I think if you made less space in between them.....like maybe increased the number of louvers and made them the entire width of the back glass that they would look really good. If those two things make sense.

i'd love to know what those cam grinds were. that torqe curve is impressive, only rolls 25 +/- across but that HP jump off the start where it bumps nearly 100 in 800rpm must be a real kick in the shorts. i can't tell if i'm reading it right, is that 590 hours on the motor?

Massive caster variance Side to side

I know that with a strong caster angle (positive or negative) there is a pronounced tilt to the wheel and tire at full lock. Yes, I'm aware that this can lift or droop the car based on the angle. What I'm missing is how the brakes affect this in any way. I'm not rotating the tire. It does not...

Massive caster variance Side to side

I don't need to see his video, but I thank you. I did alignments and suspension work for the vast majority of my working life. The turn plates don't have a thing to do with what I am talking about. It the spindles were not inclined and the caster was at zero, it wouldn't matter. But the spindles...

Massive caster variance Side to side

This still doesn't make sense. I have these: If you didn't see his video, here it is: He used a gauge like this: It is held against the hub. The wheel is not turned with the gauge attached, the wheel is tuned hard left and measured, then hard right and measured. New tricks on...

    Valve adjustment.......

And that's cool. We all do things differently. Even on stone stock engines, I adjust not running. It's worked for over forty years and it'll work for forty more if I'm around. lol

    Nicks Garage 383 build

Ahhhhh, yes always use big carbs. Just Mopar Joe tried that on a 440, Torker 2. 1050 Dom made 6 hp more than a 850.....but the 850 had 6 ft/lbs more tq @ 4000 rpm, & very likely more below 4000. That means in a race, the 850 would be in front @ 4000.....& the 1050 playing catch up.

Actually that's 5600 rpm. FABO shrinks the pictures when I post them, so hard to read. Also read the note that says, "Doesn't like to run out of gas" They tested this "8bbl Program" on 288, 305, 340 and 360 motors also. I assume these were all tunnel rams.

Slow Crank, No Start When Warm

Ign type does not cause slow cranking. You need a high HP starter. The MSD Dyna Force is over 3 hp. Some companies make a range of starters, with some less than 2 hp.

Slow Crank, No Start When Warm

Does not seem excessive. But for a test you could try reducing it to 5 or 10 just to see if it makes any difference.

    Steel Louvers

Hey, @RenVill, don't be discouraged. I meant it when I said I was impressed with your fabrication skills. You should definitely work on a second version. I always thought some nice-looking louvers would look sharp on my 69 Barracuda Fastback. When you start your business, Make them for my car.
