    1965 Offenhauser 273!

Everything's adjusted and ready. Next is to find a Holley carb and the air cleaner. When Chrysler offered these engines with help from Offenhauser, would they have used a 4 bbl air cleaner from Chrysler or Offenhauser?

Please help identify this headliner color.

From what I can see there is the following colors on the headlining for 1967 Dart Gt (LP) according to my Parts catalog. So copper would be my guess! - Blue - Red - Copper - Tan - Black

    273 Exhaust manifold

All 273s had a Chrysler or McCord thin metal gasket. It also prevented the ignition wires to get burnt.

    1971 Demon, FC7 Plum Crazy

Love those Demons. It's even cooler to find such a low option car. Sounds like steering wheel was option too. No rear arm rests is first time I've seen it. Good luck with the project.

    1965 Dartcharger

New challenges! The engine block is hot tanked and looks great. Casted November 4, 1964 and assembled November 30 same year. However the person who assembled the engine forgot to lock one piston pin on one side. There is a big scratch in the one cylinder so it needs a sleeve. Dang!
