    66 Dart GT wheel quandary

I run 2 sets of 14 inch rims. Both with 205 75/14s on them. Black steal rims with dog dosh hub caps is what I have on now. Bur I do like the Rally rims with the red stripe look to.

Why are classic 4 door sedans "disliked"?

Friend of mine traded a very nice Cougar XR7 for a more door Chevelle with big tires and aluminum slot wheels. Told him he got ripped off in the deal. He totalled the Chevelle about 2 months later.

Need some help on pulley sizing

Wouldn't ring gap cause overheating at idle & driving ? My issue is at idle; not driving. My temp runs around 190 on the road; but creeps up in traffic. You have to remember that I live in South Georgia where heat & humidity are brutal.

understanding a low oil pressure 360

That’s what we need to know. What are the clearances and what lifters is he running. As for the plugs…the plugs that go into the lifter galleries don’t do ****. I never ever use them. If the oil leaks around the plate a little so be it. As long as the cam plate is on it will make pressure...

    Quarter Mile Gear Selection

Depends on if you want to cross the stripe at over 7000 or under 6500. I chose 4.10 with a 30.6 inch tall Hoosier My small cam tf 240 headed 470 is making peak power at 58-5900 so I decided from there. You'll have more I'm guess and peak power will be 6400ish depending on cam.

    Chevy vs. Mopar vs. Tesla

My son drives a Tesla, he hates it when I show him stuff like this, then I take him out in my Dart and let him do a nice long burn out. Life is good!

    1966/'69 A100 Twins Build

Quitting time before it do something dumb because I’m tired and hot. Only found one wire I forgot to run so far. Luckily it was an easy fix. Tomorrow wire up the front lights and fuse box and time to see if applying power works or it bursts into flames.

understanding a low oil pressure 360

I see now where you said you didn't measure the bearing clearance. That's a big no-no and will be extremely difficult to keyboard diagnose without knowing that. One other internet "mopar guru" built a 318 recently that went for a famous online dyno test, and he assembled the engine with std...

    1972 Demon with 71 340 casting

72 model year cars were built starting in Aug 1971 IIRC. 6-8 month lead time isn't that big of a deal on a block. They didn't do just in time inventory, stuff got brought in and stacked. If it sat in the corner for a bit as newer casting came in, that's where it sat. Stamping looks like...

Need some help on pulley sizing

Note 1. Chrysler used over driven water pumps all the time. The billet junk of the early 1990’s was the start of all these under drive pulleys and lived through it. I’ve fixed more overheating bullshit in more critical builds than I care to think about. If you throw a fan belt at 7k you have...

Why are classic 4 door sedans "disliked"?

There was a thing even as a kid in the 70s where a 4 door just wasnt desireable. I remember being in high school, in the 80s and a guy had a 69 Chevelle wagon. I told him "its a neat car shame its a wagon..." just the way it was...or is LOL!
